Abstract
This project is designed by the analysis of the status quo of the insulator strings,and proposed that the insulator string detection robot as an insulator performance detection mode has certain advantages.A number of key technical issues in the application of the detection robot application in overhead transmission lines are solved,technology bottleneck of the integration of the insulator climbing detection tool and test tool is relieved,to develop a live detection robot which and detect zero value insulator.Prototype testing and field applications prove that,compared with traditional detection methods,the insulator string detection robot has obvious advantages in the aspects of detection means,the detection accuracy,labor intensity,has certain promotion prospects.
