Research Development and Tendency of Biomimetic Robot Fish

Abstract

Biomimetic robot fish has become a research focus in underwater robot domain with the exploitation and utilization of oceanic resources.This paper introduces the categories of biomimetic robot fish and analyses the characteristics of the various swimming types firstly.Then the research status in quo of fish swimming theory and biomimetic robot fish is reviewed.At last the key technologies and the developing tendency of biomimetic robot fish is discussed.
