Abstract

A contactless power transfer system is developed for the arm robot. Electric coupling through rotating disk capacitor is used and inductor is connected in series to improve power factor. It should have a mechanism for sending required power with high efficiency to each joint part without being affected by other parts. Simulations and experiments are performed for 1MHz system. Further, contactless power supply module is developed to implement this technology. By metal shield case of the module, malfunction of the system can be avoided.
