Abstract

Robot systems that can assist soldiers in various and dangerous operations are an important technology that can protect the lives of soldiers. This paper relates to the development of combat robots that will help our soldiers search for and monitor targets on the battlefield. In this study, we developed a robot with a firearm system to perform the shooting task. The goal of this project is to design and develop combat robots to handle difficult situations such as terrorist attacks and rescue operations. Our robots can perform the task of sending photo images or live streaming via a spy camera, and based on the visual content, soldiers can hit their chosen target with a gun attached to the robot. In this study, we explain the basic technologies required to design and manufacture such kind of battle robots. This robot can increase its accuracy through AI technology and we can manufacture robots with reasonable price.
