Child Rescue System from Open Borewell using Robot

Abstract
In today's world, children are drawn into borewells, primarily because of the impersonal nature of society. For this reason, the lives of many children are at risk. Child rescuing systems that are currently available are expensive and less effective. The existing system is a labor-intensive process as it follows a lengthy procedure to rescue children by digging holes parallel to the horizontal path to reach them. As a result, society desperately needs new technologies that are more efficient and effective. Therefore, the proposed study has devised a borehole rescue system, which allows a robot to move inside the same borehole, where he/she is trapped and perform a variety of actions to save the child's life. Children are constantly monitored by video surveillance cameras. This article covers a variety of development processes, from hand-drawn sketches to computer-aided designs. The system introduces latest equipment to various parts of the system to carry out rescue activities. The system uses lightweight servo motors and airbags.
