Abstract

In recent years, liquid metal materials have gradually attracted widespread attention from scholars at home and abroad due to their unique fluidity and high conductivity. Especially in the field of flexible electronics, there are endless researches on preparing liquid metal into various stretchable electronic circuits, sensors, and intelligent systems. Besides, researchers have also developed a variety of liquid metal functional materials and various liquid metal based flexible circuit preparation methods. In this research, we printed liquid metal on a stretchable substrate to prepare a stretchable sensor, which exhibits good electrical stability and can detect the movement of human body or robot joints. We believe that this kind of liquid metal stretch sensor can have broad application prospects in the fields of smart sensing, wearable electronics, and human-computer interaction.
