Abstract
The paper presents a system for charging of the agro robot battery. Possibilities to assure needed electric energy for agro robot motion and operation are analyzed. A solar charging system is developed and described. The obtained electric energy from solar charging system at variable solar radiation intensity is studied. The variation of charging output power was registered and efficiency of the solar charging system at different hours of day was evaluated and presented. The results show that in a summer day, the solar energy can assure operation of the agro robot up to approximately 10 hours.
