Abstract

Multimodal Underwater Sensing In the murky, dim seabed, a tendon-driven fiber-optic multimodal robotic hand salvages ancient blue-and-white porcelain. Its rigid-soft anthropomorphic fingertips, intricately wrapped with optical fibers, sense temperature, depth, pressure, and slip. AI algorithms enable precise, coordinated multimodal perception for delicate underwater recovery.
