We should consider some uniqe security challenges because of several idiosyncrasies of swarm intelligence. Swarm robotics employs wide variety of communication channels. It also deals with special considerations and types of identity. Besides, it exhibits adaptive behavior that can be changed and controlled by an intruder. It is better to consider these issues now, since the applications that use swarm intelligence are becoming more popular these days.
