Abstract
This paper describes the development of autonomous mobile robot for inspecting various technical objects. An elaborated inspection robot allows to substitute a traditional human patrol groups during inspection of a technical objects. With the prototype robot it is possible to register video images and values of characteristic quantities in open area of a technical object. Next, these information could be transmitted by wireless network to the base station. The robot presented in this article is equipped with an adequate detection system which allow to work in an autonomy mode in variable environment.
