Abstract

Faults are inevitable to occur, especially those robots in hazardous environments. Robots need to detect faults, and implement Fault-Tolerant Control (FTC) for minimizing performance degradation. In order to solve these problems, people have studied it from a number of points of view to achieve robot FTC. This paper summarizes the development status of robot FTC.
