Abstract
There is always a large demand of water across the globe especially in the developing countries like India. The ponds, lakes are not filled sufficiently due to lack of rain, so the humans started depending on ground water for their needs. To meet the demand of water, bore wells were dug. Every year many children's or animals become victims and fall in these bore well and they will get stuck for many hours because of lack of equipments for rescuing. In order to solve this issue, a design is proposed for developing adaptable diameter robot. The robot is equipped with arms which has spongy surface inside, Ultrasonic sensors for distance measurement to child, camera to get information about the status of child condition and a microphone and speakers to talk to child. A gas sensor is installed to sense for any harmful gases, a temperature sensor to calculate the temperature at that point. It has a special mechanism of releasing oxygen for the victim. For more safety, the child is provided by a base with metallic plate. The system proposed rescues the child without much injury.
