Abstract
The symbiosis between control engineering and computer vision is the topic of this article. First, the foundations of visual feedback, an emerging area of control theory, are very briefly commented before describing the control aspects of the mobile robot developed in the authors’ laboratory. The computer vision algorithms implemented for the guidance of the autonomous vehicle are succinctly presented as well.
