Abstract

This chapter intends to provide an overview of the artificial intelligence-based market intelligence and customer insights by discussing real-world artificial intelligence (AI)-based applications. The first section of this chapter highlights the importance of artificial intelligence for market intelligence through several examples such as Amazon, Robot Marketer, and Quill solutions. The second section of this chapter focused on how market research gets data and how AI applies to data collection. This section mainly focuses on the four sections: data collection, data analysis, predictive analytics, and data reporting through visualization. This section covers different data analysis techniques based on topic modeling and data visualization in AI. The third section of this chapter discusses the recent example applications of AI with special reference to market intelligence and customer insights based on the five aspects of sales forecasting through AI in the Fintech industry, growth forecasting in Telco company, agent computing models in marketing, customized marketing through mobile apps, and development of marketing campaigns through AI. This chapter provides some food for thought regarding the successful application of AI in marketing practices.
