摘要
With the advent of COVID-19 pandemic all over world, there has been lack of manual labours, that has halted many manufacturing factories. Especially, in the automobile sector, the production of various cylinder liner required for 4-stroke engine has come to a halt. This has resulted in deficit of parts, that has caused a massive a shortage making it difficult for car manufacturers, to resume production at a pre-covid era. To eliminate one of these problems, the simulation of automated industrial robots in cylinder liner production line is done, so as to reduce the risk to the labour and also maintain the production of cylinder liner at normal levels. The design process of the production line is presented which starts from the specifications provided by the vendor to the final on site application. Based on the designs, the simulation of production line is performed. From the simulated model it is observed that., the automated industrial robot production line is 73.42% more efficient and reduces the manufacturing time of each part by 34.78 % than its human counterpart. This production line simulation gives a pathway along which automated Industrial Robots in Cylinder Liner Production Lines can be deployed in a factory.
