LOW COST DESIGN AUTOMATED ADHESIVE DISPENSER FOR INDUSTRY

摘要
It is important to seal a material with another material. For various industrial application Adhesives and sealants have been used both for structural bonding. Nonetheless, the use of robots and automated systems is important to ensure process integrity for durable structural adhesive joints. This paper is proposed to design and fabricate a system, in which a robot and automated dispensing system are combined with a single axis table to ensure repeatability. A single-axis table can carry a work piece. Proximity sensor initiates the whole cycle by ensuring glass plate presence and the stepper motor is actuated. The whole process is managed effectively by microcontroller. It is suggested that a special purpose vision device consisting of a laser light line and a camera be designed to inspect the height and width of the bead while being dispensed, in an effort to adjust the parameters of the bead online to ensure that the bead stays within the range required. The device proposed is self-controlled and monitored in order to do the job effectively. This new method would help with adhesive wastage, and also material distribution can be achieved. It will allow the industry to achieve good sealing and bonding uniformity.
