With the development of rich deposits, the profitability of mining is steadily declining. The decisive factor for maintaining profitability and competitiveness for the overwhelming number of extractive enterprises remains technical modernization based on the latest innovative technologies. At the leading enterprises there is an introduction of high-efficiency loading-transport complexes and robotization of separate processes of mining operations. But in practice, it is not possible to obtain the expected increase in the efficiency of modern complexes due to the unpredictable variability of the mining and mining conditions for the development of mineral deposits. An unpredictable spatial variability of the structural and strength properties of the rock mass to be processed requires new approaches to design and technology of drilling and blasting operations, weekly and daily planning and management. Approved solutions for monitoring drilling and excavating processes are offered, which, through the measurement of new energy parameters of technological operations of drilling and excavation processes in the production conditions, characterize the variability of rock massifs. After processing by special algorithms, the monitoring data of drilling and excavation processes are used to correct multidimensional models of regionalization by categories of drilling, explosivity, and also for the real accounting of equipment wear. Based on the functioning of self-developing models of rock massif zonation by explosivity and drilling, it is proposed to solve the problems of information support for the robotization of technological processes, planning, design and management of mining operations.
