摘要
Material handling is a critical process in industries that requires a lot of human labour to be completed. The trend of integrating robots into working tasks is growing, leading to changes in how tasks are performed, and the roles humans play in various industries. The purpose of this paper is to leverage human hand movements to control a robotic arm through a wireless system. Methodology includes using of an accelerometer, acting as an inertial sensor, and detects these gestures. A transmitter section, equipped with a microcontroller programmed to interpret specific gestures and trigger corresponding actions, processes the sensor data. This information is then wirelessly transmitted via an RF (Radio Frequency) transceiver module to the receiver section of the robotic arm, prompting it to execute the desired movement. The hand glove controlled robotic arm has the potential to solve the problems such as grasping and positioning objects at a distance from users, and it could be employed in industrial and medical areas.
