摘要
The aim of this article is to do research and compare several industrial optical sensors used in autonomous sumo-class robots. Sensors have been tested for detection capabilities on different materials (black, white and reflective steel) and on different angles in two axes. Setup for tests contained servo mechanism to set different angles on detecting object, and ruler on which sensors were put. Measurements were made from 100 mm up to 1000 mm at 100 mm intervals. Characteristic presented in article are showing capabilities of detection dependent on different angles on different distance. At the end, the conclusions were made with profitability comparison of sensors.
