摘要
Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI), also known as mind machine interface, is a merger of biology and robotics, which captivated a huge notice in the field of robotics. The research work here focus on the development of an Electroencephalogram (EEG) signal based brain wave controlled assistive robot, finding applications in bio-medical services. The work on this field assists the inert or paralyzed individual to explore the world. The robot requires the user to wears an Electroencephalography (EEG) cap to record EEG signals. The BCI system associates those signal patterns to maneuver robot using brain signals. Visual interfacing is provided by a video streaming received from a video camera with a night vision mounted on the robot, through which users can interact with the surrounding world freely.
