Dr. Zhengchuan Niu is a leading colorectal surgeon whose research focuses on advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques, particularly robotic-assisted surgery and natural orifice specimen extraction surgery (NOSES) for colorectal cancer. His major contributions center on demonstrating the superiority of robotic NOSES over traditional laparoscopic and open approaches, especially for middle and low rectal cancer.
