Zaojun Ye’s research bridges the cutting edge of surgical innovation with the foundational understanding of core abdominal health. Dr. Ye is perhaps best known for an early, influential study on the adoption of robotic technology in prostate cancer surgery, which examined how new surgical tools impact healthcare quality and patient outcomes, specifically analyzing surgical margins after robotic prostatectomy (2007, 17 citations). This work contributed to the critical evaluation of technological uptake in urologic oncology. More recently, Dr. Ye has turned attention to a condition often overlooked in clinical practice: diastasis recti abdominis (DRA).
