About
Yujing Li is a pioneering researcher in targeted cancer therapeutics, with a focus on exploiting tumor acidity for precision drug delivery. Her key research areas include the development of pH Low Insertion Peptides (pHLIPs) as smart vehicles for transporting therapeutic and imaging agents directly into cancer cells. In her highly cited 2022 study, Li demonstrated the use of pHLIP-ICG for targeting bladder urothelial carcinoma, and further showed that pHLIP-amanitin effectively inhibits urothelial cancer cell proliferation.
