Dr. Yuan Yen Huang is a leading researcher in educational robotics, with a particular focus on how learners and families engage with technology in educational settings. Her work bridges cognitive science, motivation theory, and human-robot interaction to understand the psychological and social factors that shape learning outcomes in robotics education. Huang’s most influential study, “Exploring parents' perceptions towards educational robots: Gender and socio‐economic differences” (2011), has garnered 76 citations and remains a foundational reference for understanding how family background influences attitudes toward technology in education.
