About
Yifei Xiao is an emerging materials scientist whose research is centered on the development and optimization of rare-earth permanent magnets, with a particular focus on cost-effective and environmentally sustainable magnetic materials. Their most notable work addresses one of the field's pressing challenges: improving the performance of cerium-based (Ce) permanent magnets, which offer a compelling alternative to conventional rare-earth magnets due to their abundance and lower environmental impact.
