Xiaopan Chang is a pioneering pediatric surgeon whose research centers on advancing minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques for congenital conditions in children. Her major contributions lie in demonstrating the feasibility, safety, and superior outcomes of robotic surgery for complex pediatric disorders, particularly Hirschsprung disease and anorectal malformations.
