Xiangping Zhang is a pioneering surgeon and clinical researcher whose work is transforming the landscape of robotic and remote surgery. His primary research focus lies in the safety, reliability, and clinical implementation of telesurgery, particularly within urology. Zhang’s major contributions are defined by his leadership in landmark clinical trials that rigorously test the feasibility of performing complex operations from a distance.
