W. Tyler Watkins is a pioneering medical physicist whose research centers on advancing brachytherapy through dynamic treatment delivery systems. His most significant contribution is the development of Dynamic Modulated Brachytherapy (DMBT), a novel paradigm that introduces applicator motion during high-dose-rate treatment—a radical departure from the static applicator approach used for decades.
