Vijaya Duggirala is a pioneering researcher in the field of cell transplantation therapy for neuromuscular disorders, with a primary focus on Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). Her groundbreaking work centers on myoblast transfer therapy (MTT), an experimental treatment aimed at restoring muscle function in DMD patients.
