About
Dr. Utkrant Kurlekar is a pioneering surgeon and researcher at the forefront of robotic minimal access surgery. His primary research focus is the clinical validation and safety assessment of next-generation robotic surgical platforms, with a specific emphasis on gynecologic procedures. Dr. Kurlekar’s most significant contribution is his leadership in the first-in-human clinical trial of the Versius Surgical System, a novel robotic device designed to overcome the ergonomic and technical limitations of conventional laparoscopy.
