About

Uday Patel is a leading figure in urological imaging, whose work has fundamentally reshaped the diagnosis and surgical planning for prostate cancer. His research centers on the integration of high-field 3-Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) into the pre-biopsy workflow, a paradigm shift that has moved the field away from blind systematic biopsies toward targeted, image-guided approaches.
