About

Tadahiro Kaneda is a Japanese engineer and educator whose career has been defined by the intersection of mechatronics, robotics, and engineering education, primarily at Osaka Prefectural College of Technology. His research spans the development of intelligent mechanical systems for human assistance — from medical support devices to performance robots — as well as disaster response technologies, including a standardized robotic dummy designed to evaluate rescue equipment and skills, and a human-powered search device for emergency scenarios. Kaneda has also contributed to RoboCup-Rescue, an international initiative applying AI and robotics to disaster relief challenges.
