About
Su‐Ying Wu is a leading radiochemist whose work has significantly advanced molecular imaging for gene expression. Her research centers on the development of novel radiotracers, particularly those labeled with fluorine-18, for positron emission tomography (PET). She is best known for her pioneering contributions to the synthesis of [18F]FHBG and [18F]FHPG, key probes for imaging herpes simplex virus type 1 thymidine kinase (HSV1-tk) reporter gene expression.
