About
Shaoxi Niu is a pioneering urologic surgeon whose work centers on robotic surgery for complex urologic cancers, particularly renal cell carcinoma with inferior vena cava (IVC) thrombus and prostate cancer. His most impactful contribution is the development and validation of robot-assisted IVC thrombectomy for Level III–IV thrombi, a procedure traditionally requiring open surgery.
