About
Saverio Liguori is a pioneering urologic surgeon and researcher at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence and augmented reality into robotic surgery. His work centers on developing and validating advanced image-guided technologies to improve precision in prostate cancer treatment. Liguori’s major contribution is the conception and execution of the RIDERS trial, the first prospective randomized study comparing AI-driven 3D augmented reality–guided robotic prostatectomy against standard cognitive MRI intervention.
