Sarah-Jayne Blakemore is a pioneering cognitive neuroscientist whose research bridges action perception, social cognition, and adolescent brain development. Her landmark work on sensorimotor prediction—how the brain distinguishes self-produced from externally generated sensations—has fundamentally shaped our understanding of agency and sensory attenuation.
