About
Osamu Yoshino is a pioneering hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgeon whose research centers on expanding the frontiers of minimally invasive and robotic surgery for complex liver, pancreas, and duodenal conditions. His major contributions demonstrate that advanced robotic platforms can safely extend surgical options to traditionally high-risk populations, such as elderly patients undergoing major hepatectomy, while achieving outcomes that match or exceed international benchmarks—as shown in his 10-year review of robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy.
