Dr. Ning Ma is a leading innovator in the field of flexible, bio-inspired sensors and smart hydrogels, with a particular focus on creating responsive materials for extreme environments. Her research bridges materials chemistry and soft robotics, pioneering the development of multi-functional sensing platforms. Dr. Ma’s most impactful work, her 2023 study on bacterial cellulose hydrogel sensors (205 citations), establishes a new paradigm for eco-friendly, high-performance wearable electronics.
