Nikolai Aljuri is a pioneering biomedical engineer whose research centers on the development of minimally invasive, image-guided robotic systems for urologic surgery. His most significant contribution is the invention and validation of the PROCEPT Aquablation™ System, a novel technology that uses a high-velocity saline stream to perform precise, heat-free tissue ablation.
