Neil Corrigan is a leading surgical oncologist whose work has fundamentally shaped the modern approach to rectal cancer surgery. His primary research focuses on the comparative effectiveness of robotic-assisted versus conventional laparoscopic surgery, and on strategies to prevent life-threatening complications like anastomotic leaks.
