Philip Quirke is a world-renowned colorectal surgeon and researcher whose work has fundamentally reshaped the surgical management of rectal cancer. His primary research focus lies in the rigorous evaluation of minimally invasive surgical techniques, particularly the comparative effectiveness of robotic-assisted versus conventional laparoscopic surgery.
