Markus Schlotterer is a leading aerospace engineer whose work bridges the critical gap between autonomous space robotics and planetary exploration. His research primarily focuses on active debris removal (ADR), on-orbit servicing (OOS), and small-body exploration, with a particular emphasis on developing robotic systems for uncooperative target capture and maneuvering.
