About
Manabu Takai is a Japanese urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on advancing surgical treatments for prostate and bladder cancers, with a particular focus on robot-assisted techniques. His major contributions lie in evaluating and refining robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) for high-risk and metastatic prostate cancer, demonstrating that cytoreductive RARP can improve oncological outcomes in patients with metastatic disease.
