Madhu Gyawali is an atmospheric scientist whose research centers on aerosol climatology, long-range aerosol transport, and the optical properties of atmospheric particulates in the Himalayan region. Her major contributions include establishing baseline aerosol data for Pokhara, Nepal—a critical yet understudied location downwind of major pollution sources.
