About
M. Insausti is an instrumental figure in advancing ground-based astronomical instrumentation, with a primary focus on the development and verification of cutting-edge observing facilities for time-domain astrophysics. Their most recognized contribution is the verification of the Near-Infrared Multi-Object Spectrograph (EMIR), one of the first common-user instruments for the 10-meter Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC) at the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory.
