Katsuya Fujii is a researcher whose work sits at the compelling intersection of human-computer interaction, telepresence, and haptic skill transfer. His most influential contribution is the "Flying Head" system (2013, 36 citations), a pioneering telepresence mechanism that synchronizes a human operator’s head movements with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
