Kati Mielonen is a materials scientist specializing in the fabrication of hierarchically structured polymer surfaces, with a particular focus on superhydrophobic functionalities and advanced manufacturing techniques. Her research centers on developing micro- and nanostructured polypropylene surfaces through injection molding, a scalable method that enables the creation of complex, curved, and three-dimensional architectures.
