About

Karsten Haustein is a climate scientist whose research centers on atmospheric aerosols, land–atmosphere interactions, and the physics of mineral dust emissions. His most-cited work, “Impact of surface roughness and soil texture on mineral dust emission fluxes modeling” (2013, 116 citations), made a foundational contribution to dust production modeling.
