About
Jung Ki Jo is a urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on improving outcomes for prostate cancer patients, particularly through robotic surgery and advanced biopsy techniques. His most impactful contribution comes from a prospective randomized trial demonstrating that starting penile rehabilitation with sildenafil immediately after robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RALP) significantly improves erectile function recovery compared to delayed treatment—a finding cited 55 times that has influenced postoperative care protocols.
