About

John I. Bailey is an astronomer whose work bridges the design of cutting-edge observational instrumentation and the discovery of stellar phenomena. He is best known for leading the development of the Michigan/Magellan Fiber System (M2FS), a high-multiplexing fiber-fed double spectrograph for the Magellan/Clay telescope, described in his most-cited paper (2012, 67 citations).
